Greetings Nebinger Parents,

Monday, April 5th will start the 2nd Phase of the School District’s Hybrid Model. Students in Grades K-2 who were signed up during the second phase, will start their week beginning either Monday or Thursday. An email was sent to the email address parents provided upon completion of the District’s School Selection Form. The email will inform parents of the days their child will attend face to face learning. Unfortunately, due to social distancing, we are unable to honor parent request for specific days.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON MONDAY, APRIL 5TH OR THURSDAY APRIL 8TH:

1. All students must be tested for Covid by the school nurse while participating in Hybrid Learning. The test the school nurse provides is not invasive and simply swabs the inside nostril of students. It is MANDATORY for every student participating in hybrid learning to have a Covid Testing Consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Students will not be allowed into the school without a signed consent. Parents only need to complete this form once.

3. Uniforms are not mandatory but encouraged for hybrid learning only.

Upon arrival, all parents and students are to line up in a single file line in the direction of 6th street. Please practice social distancing. Staff members will check students’ pre-screeners and students will be escorted into the building. * Parents are not allowed into the building.

5. Students are expected to bring their laptops on the days they are assigned, to school. Please ensure laptops are fully charged.

6. Early Dismissals – If you need to pick a student up early, please call the office 215-400-8110 ahead of time and we will escort your child to you outside, upon your arrival.

7. Take home lunches – On students last face to face day of the week (either Tuesday or Friday), students have the option to take home 5 days- worth of lunch. The lunches are delivered in a 24-inch box and weighs approx. 5-6 pounds. If you would like your child to take home the boxed lunches, please notify your child’s teacher.
